Lumeria Maui: Quiet Elegance in a Peaceful Upcountry Retreat, Makawao, Hawaii (Maui)

I'm not sure how I discovered Lumeria Maui, but I'm certainly glad that I did. I must admit that I'm hesitant to write this blog, as I am fearful that others will discover this tropical oasis.

Nirvana? Lumeria Maui is as close to nirvana as I have witnessed in this lifetime. Located on Baldwin Avenue halfway between Paia Town and Makawao.

The grounds are immaculate, with every aspect of this tranquil retreat focused on revitalizing the body, mind, and spirit.

There are several levels of yoga classes offered throughout the day - all at no additional charge to guests.

The restaurant provides exquisitely prepared farm-to-table gourmet meals nearly always with a creative twist to satisfy the most discerning palette.

There are several room categories to choose from (many with sitting areas).

Cellular reception and WiFi are available; however, there are no TVs in the rooms or property.
