There are numerous other activities at the Half Moon Resort including biking, tennis, golf, and horseback riding. Unique to Half Moon is its equestrian center.

Half Moon as its own stable and horse trainers to assist novice or experienced riders. Riders can enjoy "turf and surf" excursions along the beautiful Sunrise Beach (cost, approximately $140US). There are also several other equestrian experiences ranging from a children's pony ride ($30US), 'rookie round up' ($80US), 'sand stroll' ($100US), and private lessons ($100US).

The equestrian experience can be enjoyed on both land and sea. There are tracks available on the grounds for Half Moon for intense riding and jumping.

Riders can also enjoy a relaxed ride with experienced guides.

Half Moon stables are conveniently located in the Rose Hall area slightly outside of the town center of Montego Bay.
