Cinnamon Hill Golf Course - The Ultimate in Seaside Golfing

There are many reasons to visit Cinnamon Hill Golf Course. The most obvious reason to visit Cinnamon Hill is the challenging course in a picturesque setting.

The first nine holes are located on the shores of the Caribbean Sea giving the most incredible views from a wonderfully crafted golf course.

Originally designed by Hank Smedley in 1969 and updated in 2001 by von Hagge and Baril, Cinnamon Hill is a highly challenging course with its history preserved throughout.

In the distance, golfers will see the historic Rose Hall Great House, previous home of Annie Palmer, the white witch of Rose Hall. Adjacent to Cinnamon Hill Golf Course at a slightly higher altitude is its "sister" golf course, White Witch Golf Course which is located on the Rose Hall Plantation.

There is also a centuries-old burial plot for the family of English poet Elizabeth Barrett Browning along with several above-ground graves along the back nine.

Golfers will see remnants of an ancient aqueduct that was used to grind sugar cane and transport the products to the seashore.

A rarely seen estate is the Cinnamon Hill Great House, the second home of Johnny Cash and June Carter Cash for 30 years. The estate is situated in the middle of the back nine.

Near the 15th green: a gentle waterfall, site of an exciting scene in the James Bond movie Live and Let Die.

Cinnamon Hill rises to an elevation of approximately 400 feet above sea level near the final holes giving both a coastal and tropical inland golfing experience.

The golf pro is highly knowledgeable of the game as are the excellent caddies who will assist with reading the green and entertain with details of Cinnamon Hill's history.
